Marianne McKenna's bio: a founding partner of KPMB Architects, has directed many award-winning projects including the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto with its widely acclaimed Koerner Hall, the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and the Mike and Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre at the University of Waterloo. She also led the multidisciplinary team that produced the master plan for Ryerson University, recipient of the prestigious American Institute of Architects Honour Award in 2009.
A leader and role model in her profession, Marianne is an Officer of the Order of Canada and has been named one of the top 50 Most Powerful Individuals in Canada by McLean’s.
