The altar society is a group which takes care of cleaning the church altars, the altar linens and liturgical vessels such as chalices, ciboriums, etc. Included in this is the cleaning of Our Lady's statue, the baptismal font and surrounding areas. Read More
This position involves the coordination of the Liturgy of the Word for children from ages 4 to 11 during the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Eucharist. This celebration of the Word for children gives the children who participate the opportunity of hearing the Sunday scriptures in a language that is more suitable to their age level. It also provides them with the opportunity to reflect on the Word in ways that are both engaging and useful for their learning. The program begins the first Sunday after Labour Day and ends on Pentecost Sunday. No program is held on Christmas Day or Easter Sunday. Read More

Eucharistic Ministers serve the Eucharistic life of the parish community. They are appointed by the Bishop at the request of the pastor to assist with the sharing of the Eucharistic Body and Blood of Christ. Read More

The worthy exercise of this role enables the Church to hear the Word of God more clearly and receive it with more open hearts. Liturgy is a communal event, the action of a worshipping assembly. When members of the Church are gathered, attention must be paid not only to the persons who gather but also to the common purpose for which they assemble. Special ministers serve the liturgy by helping to establish a climate of welcome, helpfulness and order among those gathered. The New Parish Lift
I am pleased to inform you that the new lift is now fully approved and operational. All the parish staff have keys to the lift and can assist you if you need to use the lift. Over the next few weeks, the parish ushers, along with other parishioners, will be trained on its use so that there should always be a sufficient number of people who can assist anyone needing to use it.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Youth Ministry is pleased to announce the formation of a youth band. We are currently looking for singers, guitarists, drummers, bass players, string players, horn players and musicians of all kinds.
